The Icetro IS-0700-AS
Snow Flake Ice Machine
The Snow Flake Ice Machine produces soft, snow-like ice and features an air-cooled, self-contained condenser. It has a production capacity of 705 lbs of water-snow and 1,091 lbs of milk-snow per 24 hours, along with a 14-gallon storage capacity. The machine is equipped with a digital control panel and is designed to be freestanding. Built from 304 stainless steel with a freezing cycle derived from soft serve ice cream machine technology — delivering the ultra-fine, fluffy snow texture that makes bingsu, snow bowls, and shaved ice desserts so distinctive.
Water-Snow vs Milk-Snow
Output Per 24 Hours
The IS-0700-AS produces two distinct products depending on the liquid base — each with different texture, richness, and application. Milk-snow is the premium product for bingsu and dessert programs. Water-snow is ideal for beverages and cooling applications.
Milk-based snow ice is the premium product — ultra-fine, fluffy, and richly flavored. It is the foundation of Korean bingsu, Taiwanese snow bowls, and premium shaved ice desserts. The milk base absorbs flavored syrups and toppings more deeply than water-ice, creating a dessert experience that commands higher menu pricing and stronger customer loyalty.
Water-based snow ice is a lighter, more neutral product suited for flavored ice beverages, cooling applications, and lower-cost shaved ice programs. It accepts flavor syrups well and works for operations looking for high-volume output at lower product cost. Many operators run both in the same machine by switching the liquid base in the storage hopper.
Not Shaved Ice.
Snow Ice.
Snow flake ice is fundamentally different from traditional shaved ice. Where shaved ice is scraped from a solid block and produces coarse, icy crystals that melt quickly and dilute toppings, snow ice is produced through a freezing cycle modeled after soft serve ice cream machine technology — the same precision engineering behind Taylor's frozen dessert equipment.
The result is an ultra-fine, powdery snow with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture that absorbs flavors from syrups, fruit, and toppings rather than being diluted by them. It is the defining ingredient in Korean bingsu, Taiwanese snow bowls, Japanese kakigori, and the new wave of premium shaved ice desserts that are generating some of the strongest per-item margins in today's dessert market.
Anti-rust removable blades make cleaning and maintenance straightforward — easy access through the front panel, simple disassembly, and quick reassembly. Designed for easy installation and service, with high reliability and low maintenance expense in daily commercial use.
Built for Any Operation
Serving Premium Frozen Desserts
The IS-0700-AS fits seamlessly into a wide range of foodservice operations — from dedicated bingsu cafés to ice cream shops looking to expand their frozen dessert menu without adding a soft serve machine.
Bingsu & Snow Ice Cafés
The IS-0700-AS is purpose-built for bingsu programs. With 1,091 lbs of milk-snow per 24 hours and 14-gallon storage, high-volume dessert cafés can run continuous service through peak hours without interruption.
Ice Cream Shops
Ice cream shops across Upstate NY are adding snow ice programs as a high-margin menu extension — no additional freezing equipment required. The same customers who order cones will order snow bowls if you put them in front of them.
Shaved Ice & Dessert Stands
Replace traditional shaved ice equipment with a machine that produces a fundamentally better product. Snow ice commands higher pricing, has stronger repeat customer appeal, and photographs beautifully — a natural fit for social media-driven dessert businesses.
Asian Cuisine Restaurants
Korean, Taiwanese, and Japanese restaurants can offer authentic bingsu and shaved snow desserts with the same equipment used by dedicated dessert cafés. A single unit fits in most kitchen footprints at 21"W × 30"D.
Food Trucks & Seasonal Stands
At 3" casters and freestanding floor installation, the IS-0700-AS relocates easily. Seasonal operators, food festivals, farmers markets, and mobile foodservice businesses can offer premium snow ice wherever the season takes them.
Cafés, Breweries & Wineries
Snow ice desserts pair naturally with specialty beverages and café menus. With water-snow production for beverage cooling and milk-snow for dessert service, one machine opens up a full range of new menu applications for operators in the craft beverage space.
