6 Locations across Hudson Valley & New York City
Kingston • New Paltz • Poughkeepsie • Williamsburg • Nolita • Chelsea
The team at Taylor knows their stuff and takes good care of our restaurants. They've been partners of ours for five years and we're looking forward to many more.
A Burger Built for Everyone
Jeremy Robinson-Leon left a career in New York City public relations and moved to Kingston in 2020 with a clear goal: build a food brand that could shift the way mainstream consumers think about what they eat — without ever making them feel like they were being told to. In January 2021, Moonburger was born.
The concept was deliberate from the start. No environmental taglines. No vegan messaging. Just a great burger — served in spaces designed to feel familiar to anyone who has ever lined up at an American burger counter. The flagship drive-through in Kingston opened in October 2021 and set the tone: fast, accessible, and unapologetically fun.
Moonburger has evolved with its customers. All six locations now serve beef — some of the best you'll find anywhere — alongside the plant-based options that built the brand. The menu is built for everyone, full stop. Whether you're coming for the beef or the Beyond, the shakes and the experience are the same across the board.
Each location since has been tailored to its community. The Poughkeepsie spot made history as the first plant-based burger location at a gas station in the United States. New Paltz features bar-stool seating looking out onto Main Street — built for the SUNY crowd. The interiors across all locations share the same retro-meets-space-age design language: neon accents, clean lines, and an aesthetic that feels new without feeling foreign.
As Moonburger expanded from the Hudson Valley into New York City — adding Williamsburg, Nolita, and Chelsea — the operational demands grew with it. Consistent equipment performance across six distinct locations became non-negotiable. The Taylor 430 and 432 frozen beverage machines became core to the menu, powering the Brownie Batter and Strawberry Shortcake shakes that have become signatures at every Moonburger location.
The Taylor partnership has held across all of it — through the first drive-through, through the New York City expansion, and into whatever comes next.
